The Nikon D5100 is a 16.2-megapixel DX-format DSLR F-mountain camera announced by Nikon on April five, 2011.[three] It features the same 16.two-megapixel CMOS sensor equally the D7000 with xiv-bit depth,[1] while delivering Full Hd 1080p video mode at either 24, 25 or 30fps. The D5100 has no in-trunk autofocus motor, and fully automatic autofocus requires one of the currently 162 lenses with an integrated autofocus motor.[5] With whatever other lenses the camera'due south electronic rangefinder (which indicates if the subject within the selected focus point is in focus or not) can exist used to manually adjust focus.[6] [vii]
